I supported the author in securing placement and completion of this autobiographical.

Knowing he wanted to reach oncologists and researchers specifically I suggested The Cancer Letter as a venue for his piece, wrote to their editors, piqued interest. Once accepted by the editor I obtained a schedule for submission and imagine submissions.

Working with the author’s source material, interviews, and selections from the poet’s work, I was able to create a finished article that delivered on the author’s intended message and promoted the poet’s book to an influential group.

I also appeared on The Cancer Letter Podcast with the author and the editors.
